Nice work, and yeah... I would also be interested in seeing any tutorial sites on After Effects.

I don't mean to be a douche, but you can do that in Vegas, and many programs less complicated than After Effects. Although I guess it doesn't matter since you want to learn to use AE lol.

Here's 120 tuts for Creep and Mags - 120+ Amazing Adobe After Effects Tutorials | TutorArt | Graphic Design Inspiration, Busniess Cards, Photo, Case Studies

Plus I'd give youtube a search or two, that's what I used years ago when I was messing with AE.

Moved to Showin' Off also btw

Well AE is an industry standard and is the visual effects program that most schools teach with, so it's probably better to for me to learn it instead of Vegas. Vegas is mostly for editing and compiling footage anyways.

My comment was directed at the clip the OP had posted, it would have been 1000x easier to do that with Vegas than AE but halfway through my post I realized that wouldn't help them learn AE, it would just be an easy way out on that one effect heh

Also not to be a douche, but I could do that in Vegas. However I wish I could do it in After Effects. Too bad my computer won't run AE :(

Video Copilot for all of your after effects needs

Yep, after watching a few of these tutorials, you'll really see just how much people plagiarize off this guy. I've even seen TV commercials and professional video production companies using his ****. I use after effects myself for compositing, been using it for about 2 and a half years now and I'm pretty good. For the standard layered timeline cut and place videos, I use premiere.
