Thats wierd... you should really try them out.. Splatter brush + Clipping mask can add a reallly nice effect to a sig. Quite a bit of my current sig is made from splatter brushes + clipping masks and I used these nice space brushes I found to on it... I was like you then I finally tryed them out... and I think I mde my best sig.
