Socom DLC/Update Info

Many of you have been eagerly awaiting information on the SOCOM: Confrontation DLC pack and today we're happy to announce that DLC will be available to the community later this summer.

We'll be unveiling a lot more information on the contents of the pack in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, here are the basic things you can expect to see in this huge update to SOCOM: Confrontation

How active is the online commuinty for socom? I saw that it droped down to $30 at gamestop and was thinking about picking it up again if they are going to be releasing all of this stuff.

Right now there is anywhere between 12,000-15,000 people on at night, but with the patch I would expect that to go up a lot especially with the DLC coming out. I would buy it online at like half.com probably get it for $15 bucks maybe cheaper.

I really shouldn't get too excited over the map because all the good stuff like jumping through windows and whatnot won't work. Still, it looks cool. Summer 2010 is going to be awesome!

That probably would be the better way to go but i have a $30 gift card for gamestop that I can not think of anything else to get. This is literally the only game that looks somewhat interesting to me around $30.

Someone was telling me that the maps for the map pack are going to be Blizzard, Night Stalker, and Vigilance. Probably BS but thought you all might like to know. I just hope that there's more than that.

Well since Vigilance seems to have snow now, Blizzard seems to be in place. Perhaps Requiem will be the third? Or add snow to Night Stalker......

Snow on Night Stalker would be amazing to be honest. That would add such a level of awesomeness to the map. Maybe a snowy version and a not snowy version. That would be kickasss,

In a logical world, the presence of snow on one map would mean the potential was there for snow to be an option on all maps, just like day or night.
