I picked up a used copy of Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time without knowing anything about the game, but I now know that it is a series.
Is it necessary to play the previous games prior to playing this one? Will the game make references to past games that might confuse me or can I start anywhere in the series because it is its own separate story (i.e. main Final Fantasy games)?
the story isnt linked at all to my knowledge except the fact that the game takes place 400 years after the last blue sphere in star ocean 2.
now any small trivial references, i dunno havent played the game in years because i forgot where i was and its like impossible to find where i was supposed to go or do now.
