There's no signs of Zipper doing another Socom, they've pretty much washed their hands of it and moved on.
Slant Six did Socom Confrontation and considering the low budget it had and the horrible reception it got I wouldn't bet a lot of money on another PS3 Socom from them any time soon.

that's sad because i loved every socom until confrontation. how everyone in that game actually used a mic. everyother game ive played everyone seems like there playing solo. and no1 uses a mic.
I thought Zipper acknowledged that Confrontation was not Socom 4 and that they gave Slant 6 the rights just to make a filler title in the series while they worked on MAG.

A return of the customizable Taunts and Orders would be nice. Always liked being able to say, "Sorry for the TK" after accidentally killing a team mate. Also, some of the taunts people came up with were pretty funny.

I would like to see a step towards the socom 3 gameplay with a step forward in graphics and some additions in the usual guns, maps, characters. I have played socom from 1-CA. Confrontation was just not my type of game.

On to more realistic things I'm about to get a ps3 for this among other things. One of my bro's plays this religiously and the biggest thing that needs upgrades is the graphics.

I still don't understand why people knock the game's graphics... I mean, sure, it's not as lovely looking as, say, Gears 2 but then again it's not like the game is a fricken 16-bit game being played on a Sega Genesis.
