Also, LiKuid, for the sake of argument...Star Ocean is developed by Tri-ace, not Square Enix. The Tales series has been on every platform known to man, so nothing will change there. Hideo Kojima never insisted that MGS the series will never be brought to other consoles, all that talk was about Metal Gear Solid 4, which is still exclusive.
You're right, my mistake. Star Ocean was developed by tri-Ace. However, their SO games still debuted previously on Sony consoles before The Last Hope, and now Resonance of Fate, a new IP, is going to be multiplatform. Kind of strange, if you ask me.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Kojima said MGS was going to stay with Sony, but I lost my source. I'll have to look for it later. I don't remember reading "Metal Gear Solid 4" either.

I think Tri-ace just jumped to the 360 due to the dev kits being out earlier than that of the PS3.
They have since kind of stuck with it, but now they are jumping to multiplatform, because out of the several games they have made, they have had less than stellar sales on the 360.
Wow! I didn't even know all of this stuff! I'm glad I created this post! I think if Kingdom Hearts were to go multi platform, it would only come out on the PS3 and the Wii. I say this because the 1st & 2nd KH's came out on the PS2, and with the Wii you could use the Wii remote to swing your keyblades, which would be really cool!

You know, I'm not all sure if Kingdom Hearts 3 would be released on Wii. I mean, when I played the previous games, I did a LOT of keyblade-slashing. I know if I were to play it on the Wii, I would get worn out in maybe 30 minutes! The idea would be cool at first, but it would get old quickly, in my opinion.

It is very rare for a high profile game to be multiplatform between only the Wii and PS3 or 360.
That would require a lot of dev time, since the consoles are so different in hardware. Just porting it to the other would pretty much not work. As an example, that is the reason why Wii doesn't get Overlord 2, but rather a different exclusive Overlord game.
If KH3 is released, it will be...
A. PS3 Exclusive
B. Wii Exclusive
C. 360/PS3 Multiplatform

Okay, your response is understandable.

But, for your response, I have a response. If you get worn out in 30 minutes, chances are, you're probably out of shape. I don't see how using the wii remote can get old quickly. There's nothing more fun than feeling like you're right there in the action. Not only that, but it will get you in shape! lol, I'm just kidding, I understand where you're coming from. But, for athletes such as myself, this would be the ultimate game for us. If Kingdom Hearts doesn't come out on the Wii, then I'll just have to settle for Zelda, lol.

I am out of shape, but I'm no swordsman slashing at the air for a constant 30-60 minutes (or longer).
One new Kingdom Hearts game, KH 358/2 Days, has been released in Japan. Two more Square-Enix-meets-Disney mash-ups are forthcoming: Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for the PSP and Kingdom Hearts: Coded for cell phones.
But where is the one everyone is waiting for, Kingdom Hearts 3?
Kingdom Hearts designer Tetsuya Nomura says he already has ideas for the next installment. "But since Birth by Sleep isn't even out yet, I don't have to think about it until awhile from now," says Nomura.
According to Nomura, people have recently been asking him what he is planning for KH3. "KH3. Even though I'm currently busy with Final Fantasy versus XIII, I'm also thinking that it's almost time to start thinking about it seriously," he adds. "Though it's entirely possible that the next game in the series won't be KH3."
When pressed about the still-undevelopment-future KH title, he's tight lipped, but does say it will be more "official" than a KH side story. "I actually told the producer this recently, and he said "...what?" It's the mystery KH," Nomura says, laughing. "Of course, I am also thinking about KH3." Of course!
This could mean we won't see KH3 for a long while, but I don't see how this new installment it would be considered "more official."
This might sound WAY biased but I don't like the idea of kh3 being multi-platform.
I've discussed this with my brother and we both love multi-platform releases [even though we own all three consoles].
But KH deserves to be on the ps3 and only that, just like MGS4 was just for that.
And this is off topic but I read that there's gonna be a Vesperia for ps3 on an older post.
THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW, I'LL DEFINTELY SAVE MY CASH.

I have just found out that the next installment of the Kingdom Hearts franchise will be coming out on the Nintendo DS
It's been known for a long while now that there were three upcoming Kingdom Hearts titles, one just recently released in Japan, and that is Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the Nintendo DS. The others are Kingdom Hearts Coded for mobile phones (released on Japan last year) and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep for Sony PSP.

Ah yes, I remember hearing about all those titles a while ago.
It truly Is a nice series and I hope that the 3rd one comes out soon.
