so as you might know the gta4 lost and the damed was an exclusive ffor xbox360 live download. ARE YOU DIASAPOINTED THAT IT WAS AN EXCLUSIVE FOR THE XBOX360 CONCIDERING THAT THE GTA SERIES STARTED OFF WITH THE SONY AND GOT FAMOUSE BY THEM AND NOW THEY MADE LOST AND DAMED AND EXCLUSIVE,DO U THINK THEY ARE BETRAYING SONY??

No actually. Alot of these game that so called started with sony, did so because they were the only game in town. The PS2 was the only system of its caliber out and alot of devs chose it at the begining and just stuck with it, since it was the safest bet. Now Sony doesnt have that luxury anymore, its now a liability to have an exclusive PS3 title, and everyone thinks everyone has betrayed sony , not so. there just more systems, and more things they can do, and more money they can make going multi and somtimes exclusive on other consoles other than a ps2/ps3.


And as for the lost and the damned, if Sony put up some big bucks, theyd have a cool expansion too. Or maybe they couldve, if more psn subscribers would actually purchase something.

No. Rockstar is a business, and businesses like to make money. They got quite a payday from Microsoft for exclusivity.

well GTA1 kinda came out for the playstation around the same time if not the very same time. Because i remember playing it fist on my friends pc, but getting it as a Christmas gift for playstation 2 months later. So i guess sony would suffice.

No... and I am beginning to wonder why these thoughts weren't posted before the DLC has now been available for the past several weeks. I mean, it wasn't really old news even months ago that the DLC was only headed in the 360's direction... and you choose now to strike up a debate about it? Wow.

Well technically, now, Wipeout is a sony product. But the Playstation was the first console GTA released on, so it should suffice.

It's less about loyalty and more about money.
Rockstar made a wise choice imo by putting out GTA on the most
popular next-gen console.
