How was it awful? Seemed to me like you have a thousand times more control, as to which direction you want to hit the ball towards... The Show's batting seems like it's a thousand times more random.
2K9's hitting > The Show's hitting... 'nuff said.
In the Show demo I was able to pull and send the ball the other way with plenty of control... more control than 2k9. Do you use the the right stick to influence where you want the ball? Once in a great while I would use while guessing an inside fastball, and would pull it down the line for a double (depending on the 1B position).
It was nice to use different controls and they weren't THAT bad to me, but the stick just felt clunky and unsmooth. Just personal preference I suppose.

But of course... and still it seems less responsive than the batting controls I used in the 2K9 demo. Not trying to say that 2K9 is a better game overall, but the batting controls sure seemed to be more responsive.

I hate the Rtts Baserunning. I find myself either coming in for a SB and I just let go and im hung out to dry. Or my guy won't round a base or like start to go when he is just standing on the base, causing me to lose runs, and games. >.<

I understand what you're saying but it's the complete opposite for me... Hell, my controller has been through everything except an atomic bomb so the analog sticks could be way off. Hopefully a future version on The Show will have the stick features and the button swing avalible, just to have more avalible features.

LMAO... I also agree with this comment, but with some practice, I have gotten much better at baserunning overall. It definitely has a "realistic" feel to it, because if you're leaning the wrong way and the pitcher has an above average pickoff move, you're a dead duck out there.
