Yeah... once the clownshoes over at Sony decide that we're "worthy" enough to see the new content. I swear to god, it's like they think we (as American gamers) are lower than navel lint in the grand scheme of things.
I cringe to think how many hours it would take to download a MGS4 demo from their store... I'll take the under 5 hours. It's almost laughable how long after its original release, they decide to post up a demo for the game. Some of it might have to do with the fact that they've already made the decision to not release any more updates for their Metal Gear Online "experience"... or lack thereof.

Why complain now about something that has never changed? Update times are always around the same time every thursday, unless for whatever reason the specific update gets delayed.
Normal update time usually doesn't occur for another 1-2 hours.
I went ahead and downloaded the demo since I don't have the game yet, and I must say that the demo is an utter piece of crap that barely shows off anything the game has to offer, I'm sure. You get to run through two very small maps with a couple of cutscenes, namely the one showing off Metal Gear Mk. II.
Basically, I got to sneak by about six guys on one map, hide in a dumpster on another (and get caught because I smelled, I think), popped two guys, watched the MG Mk. II cutscene, then finally ran through a tiny battlefield. That's... about... it.
Why is this even a thread? a MGS4 demo wow..... Its great to get some hype out there to MAYBE, get some crhistmas sales, but on a game like this, youd have to be living under a rock to not know about this game, yet alone need the demo to make your purchasing decision.
