servers are down again its 4:26 eastern where i live i played maybe 2 games. pop message you have been disconnected when i hit the start button. i shut down my ps3 try to log in fail to log into servers.same message I'm sure everyone saw lastnight anybody else having this problem? i tried the whole reset modem thing no luck its just gonna get worse before it gets better.
Due to the tremendous launch of SOCOM Confrontation and large number of
simultaneous players connecting, we are experiencing some server load
issues. We are aware of the current server issues and we are actively
looking into them. We will have these issues resolved as soon as possible.
I am having no trouble connecting to the servers or getting into a game. However, as soon as I green up, I get kicked out and it says, "You have been disconnected from the game".
This is every game I go into. However, no one else in my clan has this problem.

I think they're trying to fix it the best they can. I was online wen you say the servers went down, but it froze a few seconds ago and now I can't get back on. I think they aren't letting a mass amount of people onto the server right now.
I FINALLY got online this afternoon, after I got home from class. Played Desert Glory (pretty effin cool, BTW), got a weird "stats are not recording" jibberish message a handful of times, started into a round in Fallen, and the game ends after only one round... oh, and this was after more than half the room got booted.
As it stands right now, this game is pretty much unplayable at the moment... the rooms just don't feel stable, yet the hit detection is great. I've never seen so many weird things happen like this... not in all the years I have been playing Socom games anyway.

I can't get on anymore, and Ted I think they did finally pull the servers down, because all of my friends aren't on the game anymore.
When they get the issues fixed, I'm going to be spending alot of time with this game. As much as I want to say I'll put it down until they get them fixed, god only knows i'll be trying to play it day in and day out. haha.;

Agreed... but it's still going to be fighting for playing time once LittleBigPlanet comes out soon. I just found out that the LBP beta has officially ended... I was going to play that after just getting booted from Socom. Ouch.
the most annoying one is when your in a 16 x 16 room and the screen just freezes at the beginning of the next round. Only way to turn off the PS3 is holding down the power button on the console. Happened to me 3 times in an hour last night...very annoying.

Yeah, this happened to me a few minutes ago while playing the damn game... I wanted to reach for a razor blade and cut myself once I noticed the LBP beta is over, after I eventually powered my PS3 back up.
I'm don't plan on getting that game soon, because I spent all I had on SOCOM, so I'm praying for a SOCOM server overhaul.
Since playing Socom Confrontation, I've pretty much abandoned the thought of buying LBP until around the holiday season when I have more time for gaming. Right now, all my time is going to be taken up by S:C.
The longer their servers stay fu**ed up, for me, it's going to be a no-brainer as to which game I am going to play more of.
lol...The sales of LBP will probably be 10-15x as much as Socom Confrontation. Don't get your hopes up. ;)
At least you would still be able to play single player games, and create stuff if the online does crap out.
Anyways, last night the servers wouldn't work at all. Tonight, their online, but good luck playing a game. Maybe on the third day we can get into games fine? Oh we can only hope. :P
