Well...we have to point out little bugs if we ever wish to get them fixed. It isn't ruining the game for me.
The only thing that has ever ruined any Socom game for me, was retards playing.
"I am just going to sit in this one area with a sniper rifle, scoped into one completely random position, while the one person on the other team is in the hostage room waiting for me to try to rescue them. *8 minutes later* WTF WHERE WAS HE!!!?!"
I realize that. I'm talking about the people who are already giving up on the game because a small feature, of their own personal preference, was not in the game. And trust me, I've already met more than I need to on the game.
The ear piece on the headset could have been a few cm shorter though, lol.
:P
Speaking of the headset...do you have to wait until it's fully charged before pairing it with the PS3? That's what it says in the manual, but I paired it after a partial charge, but it wasn't working in the game.

I paired mine after about 20 minutes of charging (The two installs), and it worked. Are you sure you did it correctly?
Creep, Just delete your saved profile stuff and it fixes everything.
I deleted all of the Socom information that I had saved on my PS3 before I went to the store to pick up my copy of the game. Third time must have been a charm, because I finally got my game to run on my PS3.
People that I know who were not even in the beta have been having the same kind of "data corruption" problem that I was running into earlier... I dunno... sounds weird to me.

I think....I went to <Manage Accessories>, <Register BT>, it searched for the the headset, detected "Wireless Headset" and then I entered in the "0000" code.
Is there anything else I have to do? That's what I remember doing for my last BT, and it didn't say anything else in the manual.

Delete the registered data for the headset, then try to pair it by directly connecting the USB cable to the headset.
Also Creep. I got the data corrupt thing once, deleted the save file, and then it was fine. Also, a lot of people are saying they can't log in right now. Is that true?

I'll try that, thanks.
And yes, I've been unable to log on for the past twenty minutes or so.

Lucky for you that you only had to repeat the process once.
There seems to be a problem logging into the servers right now... I just tried as I am posting this... I didn't have any problems like this when I logged on and off a few times when I was home in between my classes today.
I get this message after attempting to log on their servers: "failed to login to server".
Lots of luck getting on their servers... I've tried it now a few times in a row, and I keep getting the "failure" messages after each and every attempt.
Maybe he was reading what I posted before an edit... I didn't get hung up in the same place when I would login earlier this afternoon. I went back and corrected my post once I got the "fail to login to server" message over and over.
My tenth attempt to login has ended with yet another "failure" message... I think I'll try it again later, after I eat me some dinner.
