I'm interested in Disgaea 3 but i dont think it's worth the $50. I really want to try it out but I'm not sure I'll enjoy it, and if i don't there goes 50 bucks. I want to try to get a deal on it, but will it go down in price that soon? Btw, I'm low on cash now so yeah I'm being cheap.

Why not just rent it, then you won't have to spend money on it, thats what i do
i use gamefly because there are no late fees, i get to keep the games as long as i want, best of all they are delivered straight to my door with free shipping, when i'm done with a game i just put it back in its pre paid envelope and drop it in a mailbox outside (Postal mailbox) :D
I wish we had gamefly in Canada. Although I just did a google search and found a similar service in Canada! :) Too bad they only take credit cards.... :( I'd rent it somewhere else, but I need lots of time to play this game and a normal rental of 5-7 days won't do. I guess I'll have to wait a few months to get a credit card!

What site is this?
You have to be careful with these websites, because sometimes these renting services that no one has ever heard of has problems such as shipping games and getting them to you fast, i know when gamefly started out it took nearly 5 days to recieve a game and the main cause for that was the shipping centers, now they have one in pittsburg so i recieve my games within 1-2 days.
So always be sure to check how many shipping centers they have.
But i'm sure as the years go by gamefly will eventually become the biggest online game renting service in the world, so it will get to canada sooner or later.
I like buying my games. Especially if they are worth it. Sure i rent a game here and there on impulse, but im gonna work my *** off and buy that game, especially if its a smaller company and a game i really enjoy.
Mass Renting is for cheap/poor people.

The site is called gameaccess.ca. I'm not sure about all that shipping center stuff since I haven't researched all that much. I looked up some reviews on it though and they were mostly positive. It just seems a little over-priced at 17.95/month (for 1 game at a time). I don't rent games that often since usually I buy the games I'm looking to play. Meh, i'll keep looking in to it.

That's harsh.
Btw, back to the main topic. My favourite RPG is Golden Sun. And since there aren't many RPG's for the PS3 and I haven't played any I don't have a favourite.

Actually its for people who don't want to spend money on a game they don't know is going to be good, so i rent mostly all my games.
The only games i am buying this year are Saints Row 2, Fable 2, Gow 2, and Viva Pinata TIP which i bought recently, i will only buy games i know and think are actually going to be good.
If i like a game i rented and i want to keep it i press the keep it button and buy it, they send me a new game case and manual. so therefore its not for poor people or cheap people, some people just don't want to spend hard earned money on video games.
I'm a huge video gamer, and if i was to buy every game i wanted to play i would be spending thousands of dollars a year on video games, because i want to play usually every game that comes out, it would be a waste of money to buy all those games now wouldn't it?

well for most people, there are more than 4 or 5 games they would consider buying, but there is nothing about a game i couldnt deduce from a couple of gameplay videos and some user and editorial reviews. Thats just the normal excuse cheap people use when defending why they rent over 60 games a year. Most of which, are games they enjoy.

I'd like to wade in on this. I rent games. I love games. I own every system. I don't rent games because I'm a cheapass. I rent games because if I bought every game I wanted to play I wouldn't have enough money to live. So, I buy the games I really, really want (which is still probably about 75% of the games I play anyway...) and rent the rest. I also rent games that I can see myself playing once and never again. I have far too many games that are gathering dust and I've only ever played once.
That doesn't make me cheap. Poor, maybe, but not cheap.
Also, it takes a hell of a lot to be wrong with a game for me to really hate it. I'll happily play through a game that's mediocre just because I like playing games; when there's nothing better out (like the past few months), I'll settle for something that's just OK. Now, I would normally not really want to part with my hard earned to play a game that's just OK, but I'll happily rent and finish it.
Oh, for another PS3 RPG, Enchanted Arms is pretty good.

I like to support the developers/publishers that put forth great effort and develop good games, so I buy all my games. I very rarely ever rent a game. Trailers, gameplay footage, and other information like previews, reviews, and such tell me enough on whether or not I should purchase a particular game.
Eternal Sonata is being released next month; I plan on getting that sometime. Fallout 3 is also on its way, as well as Valkyria Chronicles. Right now, I don't own any RPGs for the PS3, so I really can't say which one is my favorite, although I bet it'll be Fallout 3.
This is about the dumbest thing that I have seen posted around here in weeks... which says a lot, because I see thousands of posts over the course of a few weeks.
