I dunno about that (even though you got bannz0red.. nub). Square Enix is already making 360 RPGs, that's ****ing huge.
And in my opinion, Square Enix have gotten more and more mediocre over the years, following shortly after Square's merger with Enix.
There has not been many extremely awesome games from them ever since the merge. It is hard for me to even think of one.......maybe Kingdom Hearts? I dunno . Also considering 90% of the games they release are remakes.

Yeah, Infinite Undiscovery was decidedly average. It was fun while it lasted, and wasn't bad. Just nothing that we'll be raving about it a few years time.
To be honest I never thought much of FF before the merger.
But I guess that's just me...
Have you tried VI? i played I and II(us) before it but after 6, i was officially on the boat. I liked ff 11 and 12 alot, it was jsut 12s boring characters that put me to sleep. I still say the merger was a good idea, because i dont think they couldve continued at this pace without it. Square is still poping out some good games still. The new brave fencer, VP : Silmeria, that new FF mashup title, and the world ends with you, are some great games coming out of square enix, im sure XIII and Versus will do good as well.

I played VII and VIII which at the time were kind of ZOMGWTFBBQ absolutely must-own titles. I just didn't get on with them at all. I read a review of I and II on PSP some time ago and was kind of interested, but I was so unimpressed with VII and VIII that I ultimately decided not to bother. I watched my girlfriend play X and X-2 (I think?) on PS2 and I remained as unimpressed as ever. They just don't do it for me. Same goes for MGS. The whole world pretty much loses its mind every time one of those comes out, but eh,I just don't get it...

While i didnt like the magic system in VIII, and X was just as good(except no world map which infuriated me), VII is just the **** man. While i cant force you to think like the majority, i just cant help to think how in the world you dont like VII. Its pure genious. VI ialmost the same thing, just sprite graphics, but if you dont like VII you probably wont like VI, which is my fav FF besides VII.
I can get it if you dont like MGS though, its niche and not for everyone, but the storys damn good enough to drag through the gameplay even if you dont like it.

Valkyria Chronicle is the best strategic RPG on PS3. I am not sure whether this game does fall into the category. Eternal Sotana has the nicest graphic but nothing new on the game compared with other RPG games
earth bound was my favorite rpg on the snes it was kinda rare though some people offer 85-100 used and 115-150 new so if ya see it at a yard sell for a buck get it and try it it was a very trippy game
