At least in S3 you could chuck a grenade half a mile to help combat the campers, with S:C you get shot in the face trying to get it out of your pocket!

It's helpful if you look at the shadows on the ground. I have caught many campers that way and prepared myself in order to take them out. Of course this won't work with every single area of the map.

I haven't encountered too much camping yet. I think camping is something we are all going to have to get used to with every single shooter that is released. No matter the game (S3, CA, S:C, COD4) there will always be campers since it seems more popular in this day and age.

I haven't had an issue with it. I've come across plenty of people humping walls, but I put 'em down when they pop out.

I'm glad my Socom edge came back pretty quick. I was pretty frustrated the first night, but now I'm dropping 3-5 people per death.

More support needed for Anti-Camp mode. Otherwise your completely right. It will just be another camp fest game.. With little action...and a lot of thumbs up butts.

i just got my beta and made some characters, and see what most people are saying about the lag but mines not too bad. maybe i missed it but i think i remember somebody saying you could change the view, how do you do that?

Start Button -> Game Options -> Switch from "Over the Shoulder" to "Classic" view.

I personally haven't had any problems with camping, it's the same amount that there was in Socom II. Mostly the SOCOM noobs camp, and they drop like flies.

Also, mic looks sweet.
