I am just curious as to what everyone's favorite part of MGS 4 has been. There have been so many good parts but if I had to name one, mine would be when you get done fighting liquid in metal gear rex and snake say fox and liquid finishes it up with die just like they did in MGS 1. I really thought liquid was going to die right there but he stood up laughing. That was definitely my favorite part. Brought me right back to the ending of MGS 1.
I found "The Best Is Yet To Come" playing on your return to Shadow Moses memorable long with the flashbacks. My favorite part of the gameplay was the most of South America before rescuing Naomi. If you fire the Tangeshima in the first open field, it causes a kamikaze of at least 50 boxes ammo and grenades falling around you to pick up.
My favorite part was in the fake credits and it said "Big Boss" and the voice actor's name. I was like "LOL WUTS GOIN ON" and then there was yet ANOTHER long cut scene.
Playing through Shadow Moses and having all of the voice flashbacks and everything still being in the exact same place you remember it in the original MGS. The Mk.23 pistol is still under the truck on the helipad and the blood stains on the wall where Ninja killed everyone which was awesome. Every part I went through on Shadow Moses I constantly said to myself out loud, "wow, I remember this part too!" or "this is where you first fight Raven!" and different things like that. The whole Shadow Moses act was just badass and PERFECT!
Even though there were only unmanned sentries around the place, I still moved around with caution because the whole area was dark and gloomy and I always thought to myself something was going to jump out at me.
The fact that the Wolf B&B boss was a sniper dual and you fought in the same area you fought Sniper Wolf was badass too.
Now that I think of it, I pretty much like majority of the game as far as favorites go. The last fight against Liquid was an actual fight on top of something just like how MGS 1 pretty much ended.

Well, the end was over 100 when you FOUGHT him in MGS3, so it's not unprecedented in MGS history.
The part where Raiden saves you from impending doom via ship crashing into port is the part where I actually broke down in tears. Big Boss talking to you was also pretty heavy, along with Raiden meeting little jack. Also sunny playing with her new friend.
The act 3 intro, and where you first meet big mama were both awesome cutscenes. Snake=badass.
I also liked the helipad area of shadow moses, before they ruined it with all the unmanned weaponry for the rest of the act. Snow combat would have been amazing. Although I do say that the indoors were pretty well fitted to the dwarf gecko in some areas, like the last one.

The unmanned defenses made sense though. Shadow Moses was completely abandoned after the "incident" and Liquid was only there to get the rail gun. why would there be PMCs and Rebels fighting one another in some random location for no reason?

Yeah, Yeah, I know... but still, it would have been awesome to have to fight some PMCs, idk maybe liquid could have brought at least a division of frogs or something to guard it, or they needed the workforce to remove the railgun from REX. Yeah, there really isn't any plausible reason, but still, it would have been SWEET. Androids?
