Online is fun, except for the fact that I get head shotted frequently. :/ -

When you get knocked down and your enemy is standing over you, don't get up, shoot him from the ground.
Also when you ready your weapon if you click the R3 button the camera switches shoulders. Use this when you're coming up on corners to give yourself the best possible angle without exposing yourself as much. -
What mob said. Headshots are the only way you can get a kill in this game for the most part. If you actually have to shoot for the damage, you better make damn sure you are accurate with every bullet and ambush them from behind. If they're a skilled player, they'll take you out before you finish them off. They'll be badly injured, but they'll live to fight another day, and it's likely one of your teammates will finish him off, having let you do all the hard work and not giving you any points for doing so.
I personally like the Third person view more; aiming my cursor to be centered on their neck and unloading usually works for me. In FPV, the thing bounces around a whole lot, and I'm not skilled enough to keep a bead on their head, and can only barely manage their body.
Also, try to stay out of the paths for snipers, i.e. long allies. In Midtown Maelstrom, either take the path on the right or zig zag your way along the left/right, and then dive through the middle building's windows to get to the other side. -

This ranking system is wacked out, lol.
I just played about 12 rescue games, of 6 rounds each. Each game I had anywhere from 12 to 20 kills, with only 1 or 2 deaths. (6v6 no respawn rescue)
Each game, I won AT LEAST 4 of the 6 rounds, often winning all 6.
So out of all those games, my KDR was about 180-20, and I won about 60 of the 72 rounds while winning every game. I thought for sure I would be level 10. I went to go check my stats, I went down to 8. -_- -
zero, what's your game ID? Mine is Subject 17 -

I see now. I was mad because the waterbear replaced my headshot one. I kept on getting the two of them, and I thought I could set which one was the one shown. -

Waterbear is a high survival rate and depending on how you look at it, it can be considered better than having the Eagle which is the headshot symbol.
I have the Eagle but for some reason, I'm really good with headshots on this game. I can say that about 95% of my kills are headshots. -

I just made an account finally, because the registration really turned me off how ridiculous it was. My first impression is, I don't know if I'm good but people suck balls. First 5 games, 5 top scores. Acutally a decent on online game though, although a bit confusing. There's no chance in hell I'm paying for all the updates the game has, but I will try to give it some of my time. -

Anybody else play MGO in the past day?
There was an update, and they added quite a lot of stuff.
They also released an expansion, 15 dollars. 3 maps, another character slot, female characters, and Johnny and Meryl as playable. -

About to play right now.
Does any one know about this question I have? Since they decided to have their own servers does that mean with new content they don't have to go and get sony's approval? Or is sony still in charge of what they release? Because you agree to there terms only. -

It is a pain in the *** though since the damn thing never works. -

Anyway... to those who have the update downloaded, how is it? | |
