The Roxas part is rubbish, took like 4 hours my first time playing before i got into the game. Great story though, so i guess that part was worth it. Im debating getting a ds/psp for the sequels though, at least borrowing one from a friend.
If you cannot borrow one from a friend, try Ebay for a Nintendo DS. I have seen many cheap, brand NEW, Nintendo DS on there. I'm thinking baout getting one just for the new Kingdom Hearts game.
I'll probably go the Ebay route since I'm only going to be buying it for one game and I'll save a ton of money. If for some reason I don't purchase one on Ebay, I'll just have to wait until my friend finishes the game and he lets me borrow his DS/game.
It's supposed to be rediculous, explain mad story, and they're adding a 14th org member into the mix. Think thats for the ds. The psp one is having what happened before all this mess, some old due that resembles ansem or something.
I always loved KH1 and KH2,and am buying a PS3 just for GOW3 and KH3!
They are both unique and are great games.The think I hate about awesome video games is,when you beat them a few times and a few years pass,they lose their "magic"
I had KH1, till it got lost, and KH2. Both of which are Great but I like the first one better cuz it was alittle harder, but i like the story of the second one more.
I played and conquered KH1, 2, and CoM. I love the story, and the character development. I also love crossover games, and I've been a disney fan for years. KH2 was my favorite though. The gameplay was so much more customizable, and it really to the shackles off that really limited the gameplay of the first Kingdom Hearts.
I still remember when Disney & SquareEnix announced the title, and thinking to myself "wow....wtf....no way this will work". But they made me eat my own words
Great games, all 3 of them, and amazing plot. I'm excited to see how the franchise moves forward, and how impressive it will look when it finally hits a next gen console.
I only ever played number one but I am trying to get my friend to get part two for me for X-mas...
Number one I found to be very good and I would recommend it to anyone.. very nice game play and many players to use. I would have to say its a 7/10 in my books.

Does anyone else think that the fight against seph in 2 is completely pointless? It was amazing and the fenrir keyblade is awesome but its ridiculously hard and it really doesnt go along with the story line.
Sephiroth in KH1 was definitely harder than the fight against him in KH2. In KH1 you had a much longer fight that threw many more attacks at you than in KH2.

I remember when I first heard about these games. I was bagging groceries for tips at the time. I went to work and made enough to buy the game and left then went home and asked my dad to take me to get it. He said no and I remember getting mad but he said look up on top of the entertainment center and sure enough Kingdom Hearts. I played the game all night I loved it. I have not gotten very far in 2 but I liked what I did play of it.
I didn't really like all of the combo attacks you could do in KH2. Yeah, they may have looked cool, but you weren't doing anything but hitting the buttons they told you. I wish it were more along the lines of KH1 where you were reliant on yourself and not what the game told you to do.
