What's A Fair Price For Socom Confrontation

What do you think is a fair price for the new Socom? Personally, an online game with only 5 maps, I think should be cheaper than any $59.99 tittle. Warhawk, if I remember right, was downloadable for just $39.99, so I assume that will, more than likely, be the price for Confrontation. Being a big Socom fan, I'll buy it no matter what. Let me know what you think.

For what this game is shaping up to be, it should cost the same as any other game. 5 maps or 50 maps, it doesn't matter.

Exactly what I was going to say. If the game is available for download for $39.99, then we should know something is up. If it's going to live up to it's potential, it will be $59.99.

Not sure about that, I think Warhawk is currently living up to it's potential, at least witht he number that play it online. 39.99 might be a good price, considering it's only 5 maps, after all, we are probably going to have to pay for later maps when they come out.

I think the game should not be equal in terms of pricing to another game. Amazing game or not, we are going to have to fork over a lot of money for updates.

I say it should be free considering I wasted over 100$ buying Socom 3 and Socom CA, so if anything they owe me money.

Edit: Although that was zipper that wasted my money.

I agree and could not care less who owes it to me. I bought those games and played them (the latter applies more to this statement than does the former) simply to stay in contact with the clan from this site and never really enjoyed them. Tough luck? That may be your opinion. If it is. I say, "FU!"

The Price no longer matters to me..After playing COD4, I'm now convinced that the only way the new Socom would be better is if they just re-release Socom 2 all over again with graphical facelift that would make Burt Reynolds jealous.

I wouldn't want a new Socom 2, it had several problems. If the gameplay of Socom 2 was redone, it would be a winner.

5 maps sounds like half a game so half price sounds good, so $24.99

Let's stop screwing around complaining about how the last ones sucked and actually post what you think should be the price.

40 bucks on PSN, 45 retail (unless they're smart and package the retail with a bluetooth mic, then 60 bucks).

Yeah, it will end up being cheaper to download it from the Playstation Store, and i did hear somewhere that they will be selling the game with the bluetooth mic. So my guess that it will be $60 in the store with the mic, and $30 or $35 in the Playstation Store.

It should cost the EXACT same as Warhawk because it's the same kind of game. Multiplayer only with 5 maps. If the price is different from Warhawk's, someone at Playstation is a ****ing idiot.

Like said, it should be in the 39.99 range, because really if there is going to be a lot of updates and such that cost money, I really would like to have that extra 20 bucks just for that.
