Got Resistance 2 today half off at gamestop, they said because some games that were supposed to be there today that i happened to pre order won't be there until friday, like naruto so they did me the nice favor.
The girl in game stop tried to tell me that it came out last week, which is why they couldn't find my reservation. I was so pissed at her. I was like, "NO IT DIDN'T I HAVE BEEN TRACKING THIS GAME SINCE MARCH! DO NOT GIVE ME SOME EXCUSE FOR NOT HAVING MY GAME!"

Don't leave that store without the game. lol, they gave me the excuse today "It was while supplies last, all the ce's were already sold, sorry man" I was like ********, i reserved it, and i'm not leaving until i get it, i'll wait here all ****ing day if i have to, so the manager comes out from the back and i tell him whats going on and he got one for me.
Seems like the worker there was trying to save it for a friend, i would of been pissed if my copy was sold.
-I'd say Resistance 2 has topped CoD4.
-The game play is amazing.
-The controls are much smoother than in R:FoM.
-There is seriously 100+ things going on on screen at once.
-I was looking around marveling at the environment, then I heard a noise, looked down, and there was a 50 foot tall Titan in front of me that killed me. The environments are that realistic.
-The AI is awesome. On normal mode, they're smart enough to rush and flank you and use cover. There's one new enemy called the Chameleon. They are invisible and sneak up on you and then dispose of their camo and rip you to shreds. It makes for some good brick sh*tting. Aside from the enemies, your team is really smart too. They actually took down a Titan on their own without me having to do anything.
-The story is awesome too. It picks up right from where R:FoM left off, and the first 5 minutes of R2 are more epic than the ending to R:FoM. And the game is a story within itself, so you don't need to have played R:FoM to understand everything that's happening. It would help, but it's not necessary.
-The bosses are huge. I mean HUGE. I'm talking HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE
-The online is great. Every match is fast, bloody, and intense. Three games in, I found myself screaming at my television, which is something I only do when I'm really into the game.
-The online co-op I haven't played a lot, but what I've played is awesome. It makes you work as a team, and it's easy to level up. But every game I've played is different, making replay value amazing.
-The trophy integration also makes this game a lot of fun. It gives me something else to try for while I'm working to save civilization.
-The only gripe I have is that the graphics are not as sharp as I'd like them to be. The game only outputs to 720p. Up close, the guts of a Chimera that I just splattered with my shotgun look kinda cheesy.
Did I buy a different Resistance 2 than the rest of the world? It's receiving impressive scores, but it's absolutely horrid. While playing, I had trouble coming to terms with the reality that this was in fact Resistance 2 and not a paranoid nightmare. The only thing that I'm impressed with is that Insomniac managed to find every last thing that made Resistance fantastic and filter it through some kind of quality inhibitor that they must have bought from Lucasarts.

I'm a little disappointed with the single player. It's short and, well, the ending sucked. For those of you who have beaten it, you know what I mean. It just....ends. You can assume what happens, but you're not really sure whether the war was won or not, and you don't know where in f**k's name you are at the end (but, again, you can assume). If this was how the series is meant to end, then it's a pretty weak ending. I hate to do this, but I will. The campaign in Resistance 2 seemed like the campaign in Halo 2. Not the story, no, I'm talking about the feel of it. It's difficult and you learn more about the heirarchy of the enemy, but it's short and leaves you hanging. At least Halo 2 had the overpowering scent of a sequel. Resistance, though, you don't know if there will be another (which hopefully there will be) or not. Don't get me wrong, the game is fun. I just wish it were longer is all.

The story seemed pretty ****** from the start. The end of Resistance appeared to set up for a sequel, but evidently they didn't have a clue how to continue it so they hastily puked up something retarded.

I was disappointed by the ending.
Still, the replay value is still there.
PS, how weird was it seeing Nathan Hale smile?
