I really dont know if it'll be as great as everyone hypes it to be. I mean of course the customization will be off the hizzy but how fun can it be to go from point A to point B in a level. It seems like it'd get boring after the first few tries. Maybe I'm missing something? Is that all there is to the game?

In addition, users can create their own levels and submit them online. Once online, other users will be able to access them and play challenges on them as well. In essence, this game will constantly have new levels that have been created by the gamers themselves. However, the basics of the game will remain the same, and hopefully their will not be a service charge in order to use the maps of other users.
Technically they can't charge you for playing someone elses map, unless they purchase the map from the person they cannot make money off of it.
While it may be unlikely, they could potentially charge for allowing users to store their maps online, access the maps of others, etc. They wouldn't be charging a person for using the maps, but for the area/environment where all this goes down.
No one is getting charged. This doesn't seem like a huge hit game where everyone is going to be waiting outside of a store and waiting for it to open to get their hands on it.
The game will get some online activity but not enough so having to pay for anything about this game other than purchasing the game itself would be unheard of.

This will be a very nice niche game. It looks like one of those games that your gonna find yourself picking up one afternoon and just having some fun.
I'm seeing more and more commercials for this game now. I'm assuming it's coming out soon. It actually looks like it could be a cool and fun game. Not the replay value of most great online games, but still fun.

No, you're just seeing the general PS3 commercial that are airing and that game just so happens to be in that commercial.

True, but they wouldn't advertise a game that isn't coming out soon. When I said I've been seeing more and more commercials, I meant the number of times they show that commercial.

Wikipedia says this game isn't coming out until October, which is pretty effed because they should be showing Socom commercials right now then if they want to make bank.
hm I heard about this game awhile go in PS mag... at the time it was the only thing that I was really wanting to play for PS3..It sounded pretty cool and I like the design and such , but yea I kinda getting sick of waiting for it... I bet its a nice game to rent for a week or so... which is what I will most likely do , unless everyone swears by it...

It seems more like on to buy and mess around with a lot. The level design seems like it's going to be very in depth and going to be hard to run out of ideas.
After looking into this game more, and seeing that Sony is rallying around it I'm getting a lot of good vibes about it. This is probably going to be a good enough reason for my sisters to even play. I'm probably going to put my reservation on this and Socom tomorrow. October is going to a lot of fun.
Reading this news when I woke up today made me glad that I preordered my copy of LittleBigPlanet yesterday afternoon... apparently, Sony is going to be giving away some free stuff, including this Kratos sackboy skin.
According to this G4TV article, depending on which retailer that you preorder the game through, you should more than likely receive a "LittleBigStickerBook", "LittleBigPouch", and more little (yet big) merchandise from Sony.
