Best gun?
I think the best gun in this game is the AKS-74 and the HK5. I was suprised... The HK5 was like the F90 in SOCOM 3.

u can't play Socom 1 for very long if u say so, dude
try using AKS-74 in Deathblow above Ensign and u won't last one minute

The AKS is the only choice for Terrorist no need for anything else. Seals though have a few options, but I always use M4A1 un-silenced in burst mode. Just because its so accurate and can shred through anything.

AKS-74 definitely. The game had no range, and the recoil and fire rate on that gun was sick.

Personally, the only weapon I can use for the terrorists is the 552. But for online overall, no question, the M4A1SD is the best weapon you can get your hands on. A bit less accurate than the MP5, intermediate speed, silenced, low recoil.

Yep. Never used the 74 much. I didn't start using the HK until SOCOM 2 myself.
