thats a waste of money and space. my setup does all that record onto dvd, even edit and wat not, and i only had to buy 2 or 3 things. if someone is really intersted i can take pictures, i can tell you upfront the cost is around 150-200, but for me it was worth it.

Another post made me figure this should go in here as well, hopefully otter can add this into his first post.

Thanks!

Thanks, this is a great tutorial. My family has a DVD-Recorder in the basement that hardly ever gets used. I'll have to hijack it and hook it up to my ps2 in my room. I never even thought of this possibility, and I don't even have to buy anything! thanks-

pawn256

PS: DVD Rewritables should work great in this situation!

if you have an IMPUT slot on your camcorder (you said you did but i doubt it) and you have a way to get the video from the camcorder to the computer (if its a DVD camcorder, or your computer has video and audio imput slots), and all the neccassary doftware, then yes. but i doubt you have all that just by the way you said it.

hmmm

Ok i figured out my first problem. I had my computer set to clone my tv.. so when i hit capture from device it went blank. Fixed that. Now when i go and drag the menu to s video the screen is blank. I have my ps2 cord with s vid out av part into tv s vid into my dazzle 90. usb cable to computer, but it is still blank. When i take my av video out and put it into dazzle and switch to composite it works fine but i cant see it on my tv because i took it out. Solution? well is there a cable that connects to your ps2 that has 2 av video outs? Or some suggestions on how to make the s video part work... thanks

got it!!!!! hahahah figured it out. It would not work because i was going through my vcr!!!! my setup

ps2 to vcr input
vcr outputs to surround sound
_____

What i tried to do. Bought madcats universal cord. Pluged into ps2. Set up s video to dazzle that was plugged into computer. WRONG... i dont know why.

What works. Buy composite to s video cord. Vcr must have video output. plug composite into vcr video out. Plug s video into dazzle. WORKS!!

Thanks for the info otter. I'm not sure my setup is right, maybe you can help. Out of my tv, i split my audio/video using cable splitters(this maybe part of my problem) from best buy. The reason i did it that way was because when i would run the cable through my vcr/dvdr combo, then back to the tv, i would have at least a half second delay. Not olny does the delay suck, but the sound was delayed and the picture was terrible. If you could give me your opinion i would appreciate it.
