I played a rainy type level for the first time yesterday (don't know the name of it, sorry), and I loved it. I also love...Ahhh! All of them are awesome.
The only one I dislike is the Red Planet where there is a giant mountain in the center, nothing else. I hate that level so much, there isn't much to do there.
P.S. Nice topic.

I love Kamino, the Bespin Platforms, And the Yavin temple. I can play all three of these maps over and over. Hoth got old fast. Any map that i can fly on i love.
Since I tend to be a pilot a lot I like to play Platforms. It's a very good piloting map especially with the X-wing. My favorite map though for ground troops is a close race between Endor and Naboo: Theed. I can't stand genosis spire though, seems like you only have a chance in a vehicle or you just get slaughtered on foot.
I love Kamino, Bespin: Platforms, Hoth, and Kashyyk: Docks (all eaqually). ANG FOR GOD'S SAKE, PEOPLE. STOP KILLING EWOKS! TAKE YOUR ANGER OUT ON THE THEIVING WOOKIEES, NOT THE EWOKS (THE COOL LITTLE BEARS WITH HOODS)

I like Hoth and Platforms. Since Piloting and Sniping are my favorite things today those maps are perfect for them. I can play them both all day and chill in my snow speeder or in a X-Wing. Best of all though is flying a xwing up onto the highest roof on Platforms and Sniping from way up there.
No, SW isn't like Socom. It is a respawn- only game. Teams usually have about ~20-30 people (with a max. of 8 people per team), and each team has 200 or 250 respawns that it shares amongs the entire team (this allows each army to have a huge ammount of soldiers with no lag in single player. However, there is a lot of lag online, unless you go in a room with decent ping.). The maps are far, far larger than in socom to accomodate for vehicles (in both land and air). The game is almost strictly run-and-gun, because you take the role of a mere soldier, not a vital member of a small man team. If you are considering renting it, be aware that almost every Star Wars fan liked it, and almost everybody who didn't like Star Wars... didn't like it.
