Obama Vs McCain

Ok, Since Obama already won the Democratic ticket, it's down to Obama and McCain. Who are you guys wanting to take office for 2008?

I personally want McCain. He's more experienced in office and with war. Something we need to pay more attention to.

EDIT: Someone change the poll closing date to 11-10-2008 please.

Cannot el chango pollo.

Wait wait wait...What?

John McCain has No, You Can't, Barack Obama has Yes, We Can.

Nuff said.

McCain's "experience" in war has nothing to do with it.

Someone who knows war vs. someone who wants to stop war? That's a no brainer. Obama ftw.

Yes, we can!

And for the Spanish folk out there; Sí, Se Puede!

Obama.

McCain seems like a sneaky, untrustworthy person. I really don't like any of the candidates but Obama seems the best choice.

Neither.
We have too much going on for inexperience and such a change and MCain is almost as scary as Bush. The end of this country as we know it will be here shortly. We're doomed.

Is a pity you aren't the weatherman NUN. The sports guy would have a tough act to follow.

Perhaps "this country as we know it" would not be such a tragic loss as it sounds? Right now I'm looking across the pond and thinking that Americans deserve better. Not just a new figurehead, but a new political system with a reborn economy and ideology. The whole system as it stands was put together in a very short period of time. Other systems have evolved to an acceptably mediocre state, whereas the US started promisingly and went downhill when the flaws started acting against the country.

haha... ILY.

McCain, because I like owning guns and keeping the money I earn... and Obama is too dang trendy. I mean seriously, when they start making songs with celebrities in it, it's just sad.

But in all honesty, the current state of politics is a river rapids ride up ****'s Creek.

I'd rather have McCain in office. Other candidates do exist and it's the "they don't have a chance" attitude that keeps the voters away from them. I'd like Ron Paul if not Mccain.

I'm voting for McCain, because I took a vow a while back to only vote for people who are pro-life. I'm in covenant with Bound4LIFE, so I will never vote for anyone who wants to keep abortion legal. If you guys want to check out what Bound4LIFE is all about, here's the link... Bound4LIFE International

I also believe that marriage is a commitment that is ordained of God, and that it should only be between one man and one woman. So that's another reason why I'm for McCain.

By the way, I'm not starting a flame war. I'm just stating my beliefs, as is everyone else. I REALLY wanted Mike Huckabee as our next President, but he didn't get the nomination.

It shouldn't be any surprise that I'm going with Obama.

For much of my adult life I've been saying that government is corrupt, politics are sh#t and the whole thing is pretty much f#cked. For the first time ever, there's a candidate that shares those same views with me, and a candidate I actually believe in.

Though some will say that he lacks experience and know-how, the guy's got more than enough heart, morals, ethics and principles to make up for it. Sometimes that's all you need.

If elected, I believe Barack Obama will be heralded as one of the greatest presidents in the history of our nation. That's if some loony doesn't shoot him first, which is what I fear the most.
