I had to take US Presidency in undergrad, and I failed it the first time around. (Retook it and got a C though!) And for that alone, I hate all presidents past, present and future! I really suck at history -- although now a days I try to make more of an effort to learn stuff in more detail, but from reading everyone's posts here, I certainly have no leg to stand on in this thread... I am gonna go now.

I love History. Especially US History, Civics, etc. It's the only stuff I'm good at. That and Science. Math is my absolute worst subject, someone could put Geometry into the most simplest terms and I'd still fail. Didn't mean to go off-topic, sorry about that.

On Topic:

I don't see the reasoning of why some chose Bill Clinton. Yes, He lied under oath, Yes, He had some sex scandals while in office, etc. That doesn't make him a bad president in my book. Even though I added him to the poll, I don't find him a bad president.

Off topic: Before you worry about the moral justification of the A-bombs, think about what happened in Dresden. More German civilians were killed by Allied firebombing than both bombs combined, and for almost no reason whatsoever.

I think it's more than just the sex scandal that people feel Bill was not a very productive president. He did little to help the economy while he was in office, although many people attribute the rise of the Stock Market to his credit (We now know that's not true since the Stock Market works in cycles and he just happened to be in office during a "good" cycle).

Then there was his failed health care plan, although I'm 100% of the details of the plan and what exactly occurred. All I know was it did not go over well at all.

Given past events, we now know he made one of the most crucial decisions in which he chose not to pursue Osama Bin Laden, and we all know what he is responsible for. I was watching an in depth documentary on Bill in which they examined that very decision of his. After investigation it was concluded that he chose not to pursue Bin Laden because it would have "destroyed" his political career. That's just Bill acting like a typical politician who puts the image and needs of himself first rather than the people he is leading.

I don't think that, had he chosen to pursue Bin Laden in the way our current president has (though apparently not any more), it would have made any difference whatsoever on 9/11.

I didn't mean to infer that it would have changed what happened, but rather the situation has caused some to look unkindly upon Clinton based on my experience and gatherings.
