How would you rate Grand Theft Auto IV?

People are just being stupid. IGN gave it a 10 out of 10 and they have not given a game a 10 in a decade. I have not played it but it looks amazing.

I expected more I guess.. I didn't give it a one, I Just think it's another Gta that I will beat the one player then forget I own it.
Everyone hyped it up to being the greatest thing in the world like you said Ign rated it 10/10 so I'm sitting here like wow then I play it and the controls are unstable the graphics are OK and so far the story is still not giving me anything to go WOW over. Maybe once I get to 50% I will change my opinion but until then Joe gives this game 2/5.

I give it a 4/5 for improvement, but 2/5 for being so damned complicated. In some areas, I think they went a bit too far. For one, the driving blows...
But overall, it's a solid game worthy of at least 4/5.

I say 5 Stars
The game is amazing, it has a really good story, solid gameplay, very addictive.
As for the online its a bit laggy, they will need to work on that.
And more multiplayer options would be good, like being able to boot people, let people choose what team they want to be on, team leader of your choosing if you had to leave or something. the multiplayer seriously needs some work, but its fun and addictive, and thats all that matters for now.

Yeah I bought the first two GTA's and they were awsome but as soon as I beat them it was boring to just drive around.
They say the online game play is worth the $60 alone though.

Yeah the ps3's version didn't have the online working today. I can't wait to try it out. After all day of playing I got a little used to the driving and shooting. I think 2.5 is my new rating. |

When driving you actually have to play like your really driving a car or the car will be trashed in minutes.
You have to use the brake a lot, and flooring it really complicates things.
The game is pretty good right now and I am only a little into the story. Messing around is great though, especially when you got all of the cheats in.
I gave online a chance earlier today in the game mode "Cops and Crooks". I wasn't that impressed. Everything seemed a bit too big and a bit too chaotic. Maybe I will give the other game modes a try tomorrow when I take a mental health day from school.
