Without doubt it has to be GTAIV.
I think the 6 month delay on the game (original release was October me thinks) really did it for me. I have been checking various GTA fan sites every day since around January to see just an ounce (or line of text, whatever) of information about the game. Tuesday is the big day though, this will tell me if the last 4 months of my always valuable surfing time has been spent wisely.
Once GTAIV is out, I think SOCOM Confrontation will be next on my agenda but I wont be wasting my life finding information about it until release date.

I think this poll should only be on PS3 exclusives. With that mind set, I voted for Socom.
I think Haze should be on that list, for sure. What other online game has a map in which you are on a moving platform traveling through a forest?

GTA should not be included as it is on 360 as well, should of named just ps3 exclusives, but anywho i vote socom.

I went with Scuba. Exclusives only. I haven't been hearing much from SOCOM: Confrontation lately. Right now, Resistance 2 looks so so so so so so so so so so good. I can't wait until it comes out. The other guitarist in my band is a 360 fanboy and after playing Resistance with me and seeing Resistance 2, he wants a PS3 now. That's how good it will be. Dare I say that what I've seen looks better than Confrontation?

Metal Gear 4. Every single Metal Gear has gotten better and better with every new installment in the series. This game should be no exception.

I thought about putting just PS3 exclusives, but I decided to make the poll for all games that will be coming out on the PS3, since the two that I'm most excited about are multi-platform (NCAA Football 09 and GTA4)

Quite a weak year for me, Confrontation and GTA are the only games I'll be buying. Brothers in Arms might get a rent if it ever surfaces.

It's suprising that you would say that. Because this has been said to be the strongest year for video gaming ever. A lot of gaming sites and magazines have said that 2008 is going to be an all-time peak for video games. The lineup on all consoles this year is awesome.
