That's exactly what my friend is doing. He's a huge FF fan and currently owns a 360. The day he finds out the release date for FFXIII, he's going to the store and purchasing a PS3.
As far as PS3 exclusives are concerned, I'm am anticipating MGS4, despite not having played the previous MGS titles (with the exception of the second one I believe). This month I plan on buying and playing through all the previous titles in order to get up to date and to enjoy the experience that I have heard nothing but good things about. I kind of regret not having played the games at the time of their release, but I guess it's all the same regardless of the time played.
I'm looking forward to SOCOM:Confrontation, but there is also a part of me that is also preparing for a disappointment beacuse of the last two installments in the series (S3 & CA). It looks like Slant Six is doing a lot of great things with the game, but we won't know until we all play the final version of the game.
In terms of multi-platform games that you have listed up there, I am really looking forward to Star Wars: Force Unleashed. I've been a Star Wars fan my whole life so buying this game is a no-brainer no me.
