Really? I wasn't expecting anybody to say him, especially since he hasn't been mentioned a lot in the past couple of seasons.

hes been injured alot, but hes always the man thier looking for when hes not. i hate to say it but he makes like 60% of their offense these days lol. like every play is made around him.

I'm a little split between A.P. and Brady, but I'm leaning towards Peterson. Peterson had a great season and really carried his team. The same could be same about Brady, but Brady wasn't breaking any records as a rookie.

Whoever it is, I probably won't be getting 09 after the disappointment that 08 turned out to be. Unless I hear some really, really good reviews.

There are some rumors going around that EA is planning to announce the cover athlete either April 24th, or the first day of the draft

If I remember our discussions on this last year it was right about the time of the draft.

I think being that Favre has retired and Madden has a serious Man Crush on # 4 he would be a good cover. But I don't think that would happen even though it would be a nice tribute. Other than that Mario Williams of the Texans would be good, for all the people that had dissed him being the # 1 pick 3 years ago. He was impressive last season. I would like to see someone on D take the cover. Maybe Asante Samuel ? I believe that the last defensive player to make the cover was Ray Lewis, if I'm not mistaken.

I guess whoever is chosen will probably be for whatever new highlight gimmick they're using.
