Same here... but it appears as though we're in the minority.

By the way... are you playing R6V2 on the PS3 or 360? I own a copy on both systems, since I had so much credit at GameStop, and I have two different groups of friends who play on PSN and XBL, respectively.

I chose Vegas 2.

I'm just so tired of COD4. The game isn't fun for me anymore. I play Vegas 2 a lot and actually like that you can customize your character, not just the guns. The graphics on COD4 may be better but I enjoy the gameplay of Vegas 2 much more.

The problem with giving powers to the host is obvious.

1. Random people get kicked for no reason
2. Little kids (and adults sometimes) feel as though they are God and abuse the hell out of their "powers."
3. Rank boost rooms can be created and anyone against boosting gets booted.


Anyway, when the host quits, the game freezes then you get the CQB loading screen and it throws you right back to the play list and you have to modify your search options AGAIN if you did so to find that room your were looking for.

I haven't played either, but I think I'm more of a Rainbow Six guy. More tactics involved for single player. Call of Duty franchise has always been linear mission based games. Fun for the first play through, boring for the second. Not much replay value.

i liked CoD4 and all but RSV2 blew out of the water no doubt. espessially with the ranking system instead of it being only online it was integrated into co-op and singleplayer which was one thing i loved also the terrorist hunts so now i can hav a **** load of fun with my friends killin comps rather than other ppl who can allways ALLWAYS do sumtin to piss u off no matter what type of game ur playin.

I have COD4, and i must say it is an excellent game. I would like to try out R6V soon because I love first-person shooter strategy when u play with others. Ive hurd it takes a lot moar strategy to win the online matches. There isnt much strategy on COD4, considering that half the n00bs on there will just try to rush everyone and get pwned

u choose cod4 because i luv how you can personilize your weapons and shoot threw walls. though i never played the other one but.. COD4 FTW

COD4 for me.

Both games are amazing.

Call Of Duty is much more versatile though

-More Versatile
-More varieties of combat
-Better Weapon Customazation
-More map variety
-More Game-modes(depends on how you look at it)
-Each class is useful
-Faster paced, but snipers can still be very useful
-MUCH better graphics

R6V 2
-Better SP (Imo)
-Mostly urban/CQB online maps
-Character customization
-More strategic/slower paced online and SP play.
-Better EXP system [IMO]
-Online Co-Op
-Cover System

R6 V 2 is a great game, but I think COD4 beats it by a longshot.
