Wrestling without a doubt. (Pro, Amatuer, Grecko Roman)

They put thier podies on the line night after night just for the sake of our entertainment purposes which many of us could probably survive without. The hits are as hard as they probably come as well.

Hockey, Rugby, and Football CAN be rough sports. Meanwhile, Wrestling is a rough sport all over. A considerable amount of people have also dies in the ring or have had/suffered serious neck and spine injuries. Ex: Stone Cold Steve Austin.

I watched a WWE fight or something a little while ago. It's just laughable, I think it was Kaine and he droped the other guy on his head onto some metal steps. Actually what happened is the other guy held on (with his face in Kains crotch) as tight as he could, while kain jumped down onto his knees. His head didn't even get as close as 20cm or so from the ground. The commentators were going metal and the guy rolled around acting as if death was imminent. Rediculous!

Anyone who says they haven't seen anything nasty in rugby should visit Youtube. Go Rugby!

Rugby is not the tougher sport. The hits simply do not and cannot compare to the brutality of those in hockey.

maybe not as "brutal" but considering there are no pads and the guys doing the hitting are probably bigger than hockey players it makes up for it a bit.

Hockey might have harder hits but i think rugby tougher overall. and when u say that hockey people are constantly moving and rugby is more like soccer.. its not... if you watch a game there is basically always a line of play across the field and if you wanna win your entire team needs to keep the line... kind of like red rover... so your entire team is moving to keep up to where the ball is and keep it moving or stop it

What your basiclly saying is that I shouldn't have been allowed back because you don't agree with my opinion right? Pretty childish I must say.

BTW. It isn't fake. That's probably one of the biggest stereyotypes in sports today. The term of "oh my GAWD, LYKE WRESTLINGS SO FAKE" usually comes from someone who is either not a fan and holds a grudge against it, or has never even watched it. You must be one of those to stereyotypes.

Also to clear it up. I was suspensed for something else. Opinion posts had nothing to do what I was actually suspended for. Back on to the wrestling issue. You might think it's laughable because the media wants you to think it's laughable. Another stereyotype perfectly portrayed by out freind Blargian Toast.

Blargain should also take a few more english classes on learning how to spell "ridiculous" not "red", "rid" would be the correct spelling. Kind of like your view on wrestling is "rid"iculous.

I wonder how many took notice to that before the "wrestling is fake" argument started. Sure, he may have use a performance wrestler for an example of a wrestling injury, but that doesn't make it less valid.

Anyways, to get on subject, I vote rugby. Used to play it during lunch part of my freshman year. One guy got slammed into one of the relo's, next day his arm was in a sling.

No. "pro" means professional. Not preformance. Plus. Every sport requires some sort of performance. Like hockey or football. So with that comment you'd basically be stating that pro hockey (NHL) is fake or NFL Football. That was a pretty ridiculous conclusion there.

Pro wrestling (WWE, TNA) is fake, to a point. Yeah it's scripted, yeah they get told what to do, but the injury risk is very high. But it IS NOT tougher than football, hockey or rugby. They are taught how to take the falls/hits/ect so the..."pain" isn't that bad. People have been seriously hurt while wrestling, but it doesn't happen nearly as much as it does in real sport.

No. It isn't scripted at all. I've actually been backstage and have had the chance of which I am very fortunate to have had to talk to the wrestlers and ask them if it was scripted and the response was no. They looked at me like "what the hell has happened to him".

And yes, I DO think it's tougher than a sport like football because your getting the full impact of Batista's spear rather than a silly light tackle. What made you think they are taught to fake hits? They actually do hit eachother. If a hit misses it just means that they're out of energy and can't focus properly.

Wrestling IS a real sport and that IS a fact as says so on everybody's TV guide as SPORTS.

So yeah. It's a legitimate sport. Don't be fooled or brainwashed by the media to think it's otherwise.
