Racing is clearly the most dangerous/deadly sport out of those choices, it's not even something to think about or vote on. It's blatent.
As far as violent... I'd go with either Hockey or Rugby. Hockey in the long run though, because you can get hurt pretty easily/badly in both, but you don't see a whole lot of fistfights on professional rugby, at least I never have.
And it will probably stay that way. They are professional enough to settle it in the bar over a pint after the game. And if they can't, they beat eachother to death in the bar...not on the pitch.
I recently saw a video of a man getting his throat slit from the hockey skate of his falling teammate. Hockey is brutal, don't get me wrong, but apart from the occassional fights and accidents there really isn't that much brutal pain in going into contact along with to sports such as football and lacrosse. The padding really helps. Rugby is one sport where the players truly feel the brunt force of an opposing players body right up against theres when they run into contact. Scrums are very demanding on the fowards, and rucks can get awfully nasty with raking and punching going on...especially in college leagues.
Rugby, easily. Every sport has extremely powerful players, but professional rugby involves at least two dozen massive men in every single game. A scrum in the international game is nearly two tonnes of bone and muscle pushing against itself, and if the weaker line collapses it is ****ed royally. They are big boys but they aren't invincible.
Rugby is the old fashioned naval warfare of sport... no matter what size you are you must engage the bloke with the ball, and when a little chap like Peter Stringer (5"7, 150 lbs) has to try and stop someone like Jonah Lomu (6"5, 267 lbs) it puts me in mind of a frigate ramming a battleship... not pretty.
If fighting is involved then the Irish sport of Hurling is the most brutal, easily. A fine game, requires extreme skill, but if the teams start fighting it boils down to this... thirty essentially normal men (ameteur sport), maybe half a dozen have helmets between them (apart from that absolutely no protection) and every single one of them has big stick. And then, back to the ameteur aspect, only 3 or 4 grounds have decent fences around the pitch and not many more can afford to employ stewards, so you can easily have several hundred men from the spectators on the pitch fighting within minutes of it sparking off.
Was that guy a total spastic or something? He just seems to move in front of people and then thrust up at their head and neck... surely thats not allowed?
Thats Rugby League anyway... a woman's game if ever there was one. Union is tougher for line-outs and scrums, and league doesn't even have rucks or mauls... useless game rules.
Has to be soccer. Where else can you watch dozens of fans get killed. Very entertaining!

I would say it is between Hockey and Rugby, but you have pads to protect you in Hockey. All we get is a scrum cap and underarmor shoulder and rib padded shirts if that. Very physical. Very fun.
In hockey, you are traveling five times as fast on something as hard as concrete. The hits are much more brutal and painful.

Occassional fights? I think you need to watch more hockey. There isn't much contact? Have you ever seen a hockey game? The padding does not help. You obviously have not seen big hockey hits. There isn't fighting in rugby. There is, however, a limitless supply of it in hockey. The padding does not help. It's a double-edged sword. With no padding, the hits wouldn't be as hard. With it, they are harder.

I'm going to assume the obvious and take it that you have not watched much, if any, hockey. There are HUGE players in hockey. Plus, those "big boys" aren't moving fast. In hockey, even terrible skaters can travel at high speeds.

I'll never in my life see hits as hard as this in Rugby, that's all I'm saying.... the speed in hockey makes the hits so much more severe to me.

I've seen some hockey but don't like it much. It could be an amazing sport with some rule changes but as it is, the game doesn't make up for the massive commercialisation. I can't see small local gams in the UK, its all pretty big teams that get sponsored far too much and **** like that.
Jonah Lomu, the 267 lb guy, could do 100m in less than 11 seconds at the height of his career. He was exceptional, but then so are huge hockey players who can actually play the game beyond thug level. I highly doubt that hockey players can do 100 metres in less than 3 seconds on the ice, so really they ain't going 5 times as fast at all.
What makes Rugby the toughest sport isn't the probability of getting hit very hard, its the certainty of getting tackled multiple times in every game. You get the ball, you move forward until an opposing player is half a second away, you offload the ball and hope the tackle ain't too hard as you have no lower body protection at all. A rugby player goes through more painful contact in one match than a hockey player goes through in a season.
P.S Not funny Boba. First time I've ever seen you try to be humourous and fail.
