When did I EVER say I wouldn't change my opinion about hockey being the toughest sport? Either provide me with quotes that I said that, or stop shoving words down my throat.
I have constatly stated that I will easily change my mind (or at least it will be a step in the direction) if I see a bigger football or rugby hit than a hockey hit.
I encourage people to post videos of large hits, yet few do. However, in my case, I have no problem posting big hits because they are not as rare as they are in those two other sports.

To prove them wrong, you brought up Mogidishu and stated that those who disagreed with your points or viewed it differently were ignorant. In this thread, you said that hockey is the toughest sport because it has bigger hits and is more physically demanding. When people disagreed with that, you kept bringing up reasons why hockey has bigger hits or is more physically demanding than their sport, and those who viewed it differently or disagreed with you were again ignorant. So, as you can see, I was trying to show that the two incidents mentioned are very similar.

First of all, that is another thread, not this thread. I don't go around following you into other threads and bashing you based on something that happened in another thread, so have the same respect and don't do it to me, please. I NEVER said those who disagreed with me were ignorant.
Again, I NEVER said those who disagreed with me in this thread were ignorant. Did I say some statements were ignorant? Indeed I did. Don't take something a centimeter long and blow it up to be ten miles.

In my post, I had stated that a hockey player's hit wouldn't be as effective on a football field because he lacks experience in that environment, and the experience he has doesn't apply too well there. So, unless you were trying to say something else but worded it wrong, then please say so. Otherwise, show me exactly where and how I was trying to avoid the fact that a hockey hit isn't as effective on a football field.

Your argument about hockey players on a football field and football players on a hockey rink makes absolutely no sense. Hockey is the toughest for many reasons, one of those being that the game is played on ice, which cranks up the speeds far beyond football.
Your comparison makes as much sense as doing the same for Nascar and horse racing.

Let me put what I was saying into as simple of terms as possible. A hockey player is used to playing on ice skates in a hockey rink, not running around on a football field. And a hockey hit is different than a football hit and is adapted to hockey on a hockey rink. So, will it work as well on a football field as it does in a hockey rink? Probably not. Doesn't mean it could though. Same goes for the football player. Since he's not used to skating on a hockey rink and his hits are more adapted to the football field, his hits more then likely won't work as well in a hockey rink as they do in a football field. If this doesn't explain it what I was trying to say, then I don't know how to help you.
Oh, and as for you saying I was bashing you, I wasn't trying to. I was simply making a comparison between two similar events. Did I really need to bring it up? No, but I did (and still do) feel that it was something that should be brought up. Why? Because this thread seems to be going into the same direction, and that is: Two main parties are arguing each others case, trying to prove that they are correct and the other party is wrong. Now, this isn't a bad thing in general, but when it goes on for a long time and you keep seeing the same counter-argument proposed by one party, it gets both annoying and unproductive. Is this thread exactly like that one? No, but it's similar enough to the other thread to be able to make a rough comparison.
Now, I'm just going to drop the subject. I've said what I need to say, in fact I think I've said a little too much, and what's done is done. No point in repeating or arguing what I've said to try to clarify it, because that's only going to get annying.

I think either boxing or MMA will always be the toughest sports. Mostly for the training. It is so extensive, and in my opinion, more physically exhaustive than any other sport. Then, the actual fight or match requires so much of a person.
I suppose either American Football, or Rugby is real close behind.
This is all my own personal opinion of course.

To put it in simplest terms... duh. I never brought up that point. Your statement of that has nothing to do with how tough a sport is and, as I said, is like saying the same for Nascar and horse racing.

You weren't bashing me? You entered this thread spreading lies about me calling people ignorant for diagreeing with me, when I did nothing of the sort. Look at all the questions you asked yourself and the answers. How can anyone make a rational assumption that you came into this thread trying to contribute something based on your own answers?

Suit yourself. I wish we had more members here that could have a friendly debate without taking it beyond that level. Oh well...

Even though I really despise the sport. I'll have to go with Hockey.
The combination of skating, hitting, endurance makes it the toughest in my eyes.
