I think he meant when you were younger and just chose an age.
I don't even pay attention to politics. Personally, I hate the subject. People bicker and fight over the dumbest things and just waste time while something could actually be done to fix whatever they are fighting about. Even though the campaigns and elections aren't related to that, I still don't follow it.
I'll be old enough to vote this year, but I don't think I'm going to vote. My parents are telling me that it's my duty as a citizen to vote, but I personally don't want to have a say in this election.

Next election I'll be able to vote but even then I won't really pay attention to all this politic crap. Like you said, all it is, is people bickering at each other and people bringing out past problems that others had. Like the press exposing Obama's relationship with his wife. That has nothing to do with what he wants for the US so why bother showing it? It's just really annoying to turn on the news and have something about the candidates, that has nothing to do with the election.

Just think of it this way. It's a right to vote and you have the right not to vote.

It looks like the stage is set for Obama to deliver the knock-out tonight or tomorrow. I'll be glad to see this primary finally come to an end.

I'll just be happy that the 3-way finger pointing with extra racism seasoning will now be reduced to a 2-way pissing match all the way to November and then ultimately to the inevitable self-destruction of our once great country.

I really wonder what Hillary is going to do should Obama officially be chosen.

I'm with you on the whole not paying attention. It's almost to the point of letting people just bid on the title of president because all it really is now is money. And it really is with the way the U.S. economy is at this point.
Honestly, I think if you take someone that makes 70K a year, they'd be a better president than any of the current candidates. We've all seen cases where the president does what is best for the economic class they fit in, which is always the upper class. If that holds true with the guy that makes 70K, a better portion of the U.S. population will receive direct help, but that will probably just get the rich complaining that they aren't getting enough money.

I'll be 20 next week, so obviously I've been old enough to vote for a couple year. But I never have because I simply don't care. There is no such thing as a perfect person that can make everyone happy while maintaining a healthy economy.
I may end up voting this year just because Obama has been catching my eye the last few months.

Barack Obama has won the Democratic nominee. He's just 9 delegates short of the needed amount, but even if he loses both states tonight, he will gain more than 9.
Woot!
Also, Billary said she's open to Vice President if Obama comes knockin'

Eerie fact: They just said on CNN that he'll be accepting the nomination at the DNC convention on the exact date of MLK Jr's "I have a dream" speech.
I'm thrilled he's finally won, and I hope he can get enough people to wake up so that he can win the presidency.
Edit: It's storming like a mofo here and my power's gone out once already. I really hope I don't miss his victory and Hillary's return to reality speeches.

Double post FTW!
Holy hell Hillary just doesn't get it. I think she committed political suicide tonight by not taking the high road and doing the appropriate thing, which would've been endorsing Obama.
Obama on the other hand, that had to be one of the most amazing speeches in the history of mankind. Wow, just WOW.

Aw ****. I missed it?. I was really looking forward to it.
Man, if Obama wins it all, it will be the biggest event in American history. I really, really hope he wins so I can tell my grandkids one day that I witnessed it.
