Invert Y-Axis

Back story to me making this poll
About a month ago, I was playing Halo at a friends house. One of my other friends said him and me were the only people he knew that used invert axis when playing shooters.

Since then, I've been a little curious as to how many people use invert axis.

I personally use it because I got used to it. I had a game that was invert by default and I didn't know how to change it and I've been using invert ever since.

I like it normal. I've played some games with invert aim and have gotten used to them, but normal has a better feel to it for me.

I've been using Inverted ever since the Golden Eye on N64.

Not sure how I came about, but whenever i played on Golden Eye for the N64 the **** was already inverted.

Then it transferred onto all of the SOCOMS

Then COD4.

Inverted Y-Axis feels smooth to moi

Same here. The only time I have ever inverted the camera was when I would play games where I fly planes. I just saw it as, pulling the back of the plane down, or pushing the front down. But when I have tried it in shooters, I lose all coordination.

I used to use it in every game, but I don't anymore. My friends would come over and wonder why my controller was messed up. Then I learned how to play normally.

For Goldeneye and Perfect Dark I used the inverted axis because they were the first games of their kind like that and the inverted axis was default so I got used to them. Then I started playing shooters for PS1 and PS2 and changed to normal. With dual control sticks, I like looking up when I press up.

I normally leave my axis settings alone, I very rarely change any game settings other than maybe the audio ones.

I think the only (if any) game I ever inverted it for was GTA:VC but I can't really remember.

Also, you have to understand basic aerodynamics to know why the controls are like that on flight sim games. I don't know much about them so I won't even pose as a smart ***.
