Football is such a pathetic sissy fest these days.
Randy Moss is a pathetic waste of life. He did what another player did when it was harder in four more games. For someone to even think Moss is better is ludicrous. It's not an opinion, it's fact. Rice did what Moss did in four less games. Simple as that.

If Steve Smith was on the Patriots he would have better numbers right now.

You dont like his leadership and work ethic? If you havent noticed, he has been playing like a team player rather than just team Moss. He not only is a huge reason as to why the Pats have gone undefeated, but a changed player from when he played for himself.

Anyone that has ANY interest in football will know who Randy Moss is, maybe not what he has done but they will know. Same as Reggie White, if you like football you will know who that man was and what he was known for.
Anyone that says Moss is a waste of life knows nothing about football and should probably slit their wrists and just die alone slowly why they think over how stupid they are.. Moss is a great WR, he may not be up to the caliber of Rice but he has many more years of football and football has changed a lot over the years, its not like it used to be. Baseball is the same thing too, the sport has changed so much over the years that you can't compair to old legends.

I said he has time to become just as great however football has changed over the years so you can't even really compair them equally. I see no contradiction.

People will know he is, but they won't care for him.
Randy Moss is not a legend
He doesn't deserve to be one.
To be a legend, you have to be a leader, have to have heart.
Moss still has yet to showcase any of this. Oh and on the topic of football changing over the years, back then football was much more physical than it is now, more gritty, more dirty. Rice pulled the record back then, and once again, in twelve games.

Keep sipping on your Patriots' Kool-Aid, champ... don't get me wrong, Moss is talented as all hell (not to mention a valuable member of my fantasy team), but at this moment in time, Moss can't even hold Rice's jockstrap.
He'd need to spend the rest of his career in New England and play virtually injury free for him to be even close to being the same caliber as Rice.
Therefore, in my opinion... Rice > Moss.

I voted Rice for the simple reason that he has rings. Moss doesn't.... for now at least.

Jerry Rice.
-He had he previous TD record in 12 games, not 16 and Moss barely beat it.
-He does have more SB rings even though that's more a team thing.
-Rice and Moss a both incredibly smart WRs but I'll have to give Rice the advantage here because he did stay in the league until he was 40.
-Rice has more class.
