Rock Band vs. Guitar Hero 3
ROCK BAND FOR THE WIN
So far, I have played more GH3 than I have Rock Band. I like Rock Band. It is more fun and more interactive.

This is a pointless poll. You can't really compare these two games because Guitar Hero only covers ONE area of play that Rock Band has. They are not equal games with equal gameplay.
Of course Rock Band is better. You can play more songs, get weekly songs to buy, and there are four different playing options.
It's like comparing a bicycle to a jet. Both get you somewhere, but one can do a helluva lot more than the other.

We'll Harmonix helped develop the first 2 Guitar Hero's so it's technically the same game as Guitar Hero only with the addition of sticks and a baster.
I've been starring at my RockStar Bundle quite a bit and each passing  makes me want to crack it open more. Must give to nephew for Christmas

I think I voted with Rock Band but that will be in effect after December 17th.
It's GHIII for me now at the moment because that is actually released in Canada.

I have to say that Rock band is by far the better game offering innovation and newly developed features which Guitar Hero has failed to bring over monotnus years of samness in their quality of gaming.

to be fair the guitar in rock band isn't supposed to be all that great and i've heard it's easier.... so if your a hard core player, i guess you might choose GH3.... but i suck so rock band.

I forgot to add:
Guitar Hero 3 is nowhere near as good as 2. I love GH2, and 3 just didn't live up to the epicness of 2.

I had to choose GH3. Although it doesn't compare to GH2, except for the new battle mode, which is actually pretty cool. Rock band is nice, but the guitar licks are way too easy compared to GH.
