i do, as long as i'm not too damn sick to where it incapacitates me.

It's very comforting to stay home when your job / employer personally tells you that you're too sick to be at work. You just curl up with , a Comforter, a cup of Chicken soup, some slushy Gatorade by your side, and turn on the Game Console and go AHHHHHHHHHHH.

That's what happens to me too! I'll be sick all break then feel better right when it's time to start school again. I always feel like I'm fighting off a cold. Lucky I haven't gotten one since I cursed it in my Common Cold thread. The internet cures the cold. Who'd have thunk?

I'm in the 12th grade, and I can't see the point in missing days now, especially if you need a certain class to graduate. If you miss class, you get bad grades (for the most part), you fail the class, you have to re-take it during the summer or whatever, then you can graduate with the rest of the idiots.

This American wannabe (hes English but thinks hes gangsta/American) dropped out last week to go work for his Dad. He would have graduated in May if he hadnt.

I could easily do the same thing, but what's the point? I thought the point in life was to get away from your parents and be independant? In some cases its best to work for your parents, but he will be doing it simply because hes a ****.

I rarely get sick, im crazy. I get occasional ear infections, hurt like hell, but I am used to them now and they dont stop me from going to school anymore. They do suck though.

But, other then that, I usually never get sick, I am on a record, I havnt gotten the flu, or thrown up, AT ALL, in the past 8 years. Im a rock.............a big fat one.

Ive missed alot this year because of chemo. I've missed like half this months cause of chemo, pnemonia and i just got out of the hospital again yesterday. I mainly miss if im either really sick or i have chemo which is once a month.

lol im in 12th grade...I miss a lot of days n skip 3+ classes a week...I still manage a 87% overall averagee...ohhhh yeah...

I've only stayed home with an actual sickness for maybe 10 days in all of highschool. I've had my parents call me out sick quite a few more.

I try to go to school when I can, and I really hate it.

I miss around 5-6 days a year, and it's only when I get really sick.

Speaking of which, I'm sitting in my first hour classroom right now waiting to be released for this careerday thing. Just thought you all would like to know.
