XD, anywho, isn't a retainer, kinda like a semi brace? I'v seen one, and it looked like they fit loosely, so how would they help keep your teeth in place?..

A wire goes over your front teeth and some plastic thing goes on the roof of your mouth, it help's with overbites.

Only had to wear my headgear at night.. wasnt as bad as you'd think. Except when my cousin stepped on my face when I had it in, it tore the bracket off the tooth and jammed it deep into my gums and was scraping my jaw bone something fine. It ****ing hurt.

I have a wire for a retainer and a normal retainer that I'm supposed to wear at night but don't. It's been almost exactly a year since I got my braces off.
