Which is the best socom?

SOCOM II was the best for me. I played the game for nearly everyday for 2 years straight. At the time, the graphics were great in my opinion. I feel sad whenever I think about all the good times I had with my old clan on there. We grew so close, and we never even met in person. Then SOCOM 3 came out, and we all hated the game, and eventually fell out of touch. I don't regret a single minute I spent on that game.

Gameplay wise, it's still the best SOCOM. The levels each had their own objective, and I think that's where Zipper ****ed it all up for SOCOM 3. That, and the ****** map designs, the busted game modes, the ****** graphics, the horrible online support, the broken clan battle system... I could go on and on.

SOCOM 2, no doubt in my mind. I had the most fun with that game, and it was more "Addicting". It actually took a tad bit of skill, too.

Maps were awesome, minus a few. I played that game nearly everyday for like a year and some change. Graphics looked better to me, for some reason. Not everyone sniped, which was good because I liked to snipe a lot.

Overall better. SOCOM 3 came around and pretty much ruined the whole sequence SOCOM had going. Some things about SOCOM 3 are better than SOCOM 2, but what really ruined S3 was the easy ability to CAMP. Camping the spawn, lean glitching with MK.48s isn't really my idea of "fun".

SOCOM 2 takes it, no doubt.

SOCOM 2 is great, it is like the M4 on the game, so strong and accurate by itself.


SOCOM: CA is like the M4 on there now, its so versatile, can be modded to fit one's needs, and also works for total noobs.

I voted socom 2, Although I Suck at it. And I'm not really into socom as I used to be. (back in the day)

I voted Socom II. Before S3 came out that game was amazing, extremely addicting and I played it every day. Then S3 came out and ruined the series, in turn killing the game of S2.
