Which paintball gun should I get?
which paintball gun should i get?? ion or the new spyder vs2?
im thinkin the vs2 because it looks sweet and many many many people have an ion. also, you have to upgrade the ion for it to be good, so i hear.

I would say the VS2 since you said you can upgrade it like crazy. It looks good too. Take the Spyder!

Dont always believe what you hear. Dont you think that there is a reason so many people own an ION's. I have used my ION as a back up for over a year now and it has never failed me. Yes you can upgrade IONS (just like almost every other gun), but I still believe they are better then any other gun at its price level.
Read some reviews on pbreview.com - Paintball Reviews and Paintball Fields of both guns. Go to your local proshop and see if they will let you test each out. Hope this helps.

Spyder markers suck, stay away from them. I don't care for the Ion, but it'll beat a Spyder anyday.

Even though Spyders are really good guns, I'd have to agree with Debog, Ions are really good guns to rely on. I own a spyder Sonix and it's a really good gun. But an Ion is the gun to go with.

Wow do you even know what your saying? Not all spyders suck you know. There's the Pilot, ACS, Imagine, MR1, MR2, etc.

Depends on what you do. Spyders are very good/popular gun so I would go with that. Its a good woods gun and not bad for speed ball. If your just playing woods go for the Tippmann 98 Custom.

i just depend on the person you are going to have to test it out
i have a tippman 98 an autococker, the autococker is pretty accurate

yea im not a competitive player. i like the VS2 because it will be good for woodsball, and if i want ot play speedball sometime, itll hold up decently. I have a Spyder Sonix Pro and its pretty good. IDK where Spyder got such a bad rep. Andi dont want to have to upgrade the Ion like crazy for it to be good. Im starting to lean towards the VS2, but ive shot my friends Ion adn its pretty nice. IDK yet, thnx for the responses so far tho.
