Spyder doesn't have a bad rep, it's just people are idiots and have to bash any kind of gun they don't have and say that the one they do have is the best. Get the VS2, you will not be dissapointed.

Knuck, I do know what I'm talking about.
Spyders are, in general, are beginner guns, but do not last. I have shot many Spyders and have played with an Ion many times. In my opinion, the Ion is a better gun.
I do not own a SP or a Spyder, so my opinion is not biased.

I was also going to mention that, Smart Parts are a whole different class then spyders. There are some non beginner spyders you know. The Pilot's pretty good, ACS, etc.

IMO, I'd just order a Tippman '98 Custom.
Also, the Spyder series are always the best quality, to me, anyways. I've never had a Spyder or a tippman fail for a quick shot to the head or around a bunker.

Yes, a Tippy 98 Custom is a great choice. All you need is a new barrel, then after that you can go nuts with upgrading. They are pretty much indestructable, and very reliable.

Yea 98C's and Imagines are awesome beginner guns, you can't go wrong with either.

I always thought imagines were good. Upgrade it, maybe your not using it right.
