Where do you live?

I spent the majority of my life in the Chicagoland area! 14 months ago, I moved to "The Deuce"! It is a small city in NE Wisconsin. I live on Lake Michigan and it is about as peaceful and rewarding as life can get! Screw big city life. People out here may be DUMB as rocks, but it is peaceful and VERY QUIET!

Meh. I find people who live outside the city and in the suburbs to be smarter and more right up in the brain then I do big cities. But Lake Michigan, nice. I would love a house right by a lake! Big bucks come into because of the land, but it depends on how big of a size of land your property is sitting on and if the house is in good condition. The suburbs are good enough for me. A lot of expensive houses and a lot of entertainment! I love the suburbs! It's better then rural where there's absolutly nothing there, but suburbs have nice neighborhoods and that stuff.

I suppose I live in the suburbs, though my town isn't all that big. I live in Jacksonville, NC, and it's about 40 times smaller than Cincinnati, where I used to live. Hence me not saying city. Jacksonville is probably about as big as one of Cincinnati's suburbs. That's just sad.

I've lived in all three types as well.

I was pretty sure most people live in the Urban area. Guess I was wrong. To bad 4 me!Actually I am right someone had to be lying. Lies Lies Lies!

I live in a very rural area. I'm pretty much right in the middle of the Adirondack park in upstate NY. There is absolutely NOTHING to do here unless you enjoy the winter, but the winter's are brutal sometimes. There are a ton of mountain's all around me so if you like to ski or snowboard you'd love it, also hockey is pretty big up here.

Also, I live 10 minutes (8 to be exact) away from the site of the 1980 winter Olympics, where the USA beat the Soviets in hockey. The rink is well maintained and memorabilia hangs everywhere. I've played on the 1980 rink a fare share of times and it's awesome, skating in the same rink where history was made nearly 30 years ago.

I don't mind it too much where I'm at, but at times it is extreamly boring. Also, if you want anything, and I mean ANYTHING, you have to drive about an hour to get it. So say if I wanted to go buy a game I would have to put $25 in my tank then the $65 or so for the game, so it ends up being a pretty expensive adventure.
