It takes about 2-3 minutes to go to town, but I live in the country.. and it's actually fun.

Big cities are where it's at in the US. Country-side is good to visit, and the suburbs...well....wal-mart!

15 kms from auckland city CBD. Takes around 10 minutes to get there (just hop on the freeway). Its cool because i dont have to suffer from the pollution/noise etc in the city but whenever i want to go out with friends or see a movie in the big imax theatre, or do whatever you cant do in a suburb I can do it. Best of both worlds. And my suburb is quite developed, a HUGE mall (biggest in australia/nz) is being built right now with a huge cinema, department stores etc. Already have a big shopping area, several resteraunts very close to my house, university, schools and industrial property on the edge of the suburb (known as albany). Couple of commercial buildings (mainly bank offices) have just being built. Its infact the fastest growing suburb in Australasia (nz + australia), cool place to live.

I live in the city, like 20 minutes outside of the big city Flint. It is a rather rural setting, with many farms and woods everywhere. Makes for great huntin'.

I live in the suburbs of Toronto. I don't like traffic 24/7 and can sleep at night without having to here 1.000,000 cars at once.

I here the occasional train once in a while, and see a lot of planes fly by, they're supprisingly exciting to watch and help me fall asleep faster. ^.^
