I'm in the country I guess you could say. The closest "City" is about 30 minutes away. All we have here in my town is a food lion, dollar general, family dollar, and stores like that. We DO have a subway, hardees, and huddle house though. It sucks sometimes when I need something and have to travel so far to get there.
Overall I like it. My school is VERY small, only has about 300 people in it. Everyone knows everyone, and its more calm.

I'm in the suburbs and I love it here, the city is too much for me. I'd rather be rural than urban, but suburbs are at the top

I lived in the big City once (New York) and hated it. I am now in a small town in New Jersey and love it. I just love the peace and the sameness but if I need some exitment I have a bunch of amusment parks to attend and more.

I'm living around the suburbian areas. 20mins from school, 15 from work and about 30-60 from major stores.

I'm kind of between the city and the country. I live in a suburban area, but it's right on the side of the mountains, so it's really spread out. About 30 minutes in one direction will lead you to the city and about 15 minutes in the other direction will lead you to the country-side.

I live in the suburbs a few miles from downtown. It's one of the nicer neighborhoods around the area. 5-10min from school, 5min from major retailers, 10min from the mall complex. The suburbs aren't boring unless you live in a semi-rural area.

I live in the suburbs, and I'm only an hour away from New York City, which is kind of nice. I don't think I would ever be able to live in the city though, there is just something about it that I can't stand.
The suburbs are nice, everything I need is right around my area, so I don't have to travel 30+ minutes to get somewhere.

Suburban area..I don't really live in a big city, or in a rural area. Places are close to get to, no real crazy stuff going on like drunk people screaming in the middle of the night or anything..
I like it because there's things to do, it's not too quiet and it's not too loud..
Although I do live pretty much on the border of Hartford/West Hartford..I'm a bit close to a city.
