Why do you need to smoke to be relaxed. I think thats a poor excuse. There are different ways to unwind...go for a run, go out with mates, try meditation, yoga or kama sutra :D

Or smoke a cigarette. You do what you do unwind, others do other things.

So you enjoy smoking some of the worst possible cigarettes for you?

Anyway, I quit about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks ago. I'm losing too much metabolism and I had to stop and breathe heavy every time I did something athletic. I play indoor soccer every week now for 90 minutes straight and I already notice the difference since I quit even though is wasn't too long ago.

If Menthols were the only Cigarette available my days of casual smoking would be over.

I wish we had today's cigarette laws back when I was born. My Mom and Dad would throw me in the back of the car and both would chainsmoke Camel Non-Filters continuosly with the windows rolled up riding around for hours looking for more property to buy. Very exciting for a child.
Then when my father caught me smoking he forced me to smoke Non Filter Camels in front of him thinking I'd get sick, but I didn't. That Stupid Man

I've quit smoking for a while now. I finally got my wife to quit and now the house doesn't smell like burnt bacon any longer. I can't stand the smell of someone who has been smoking. It almost make me sick to my stomach.

I could never understand how people roll right out of bed and the first thing they do is light up a Butt.

I've been smoking for 18 years and finally am trying to quit. I'm not in the least bit addicted to nicotine. I just truly love the taste and enjoy the feeling.

I agree that it makes you and your environment smell horrendous and the 8 bucks per pack it absurd but I'm not quitting for those reasons. I'm quitting because I'd like to see my kids grow up without having to take care of dad who can't breathe without help from an oxygen tank. Emphysema is one of the most horrible diseases anyone could have and seeing what it does to people I know is pretty f'in scary. What's even scarier is that most who have it deserve it and brought it upon themselves.

As for smoking medicinally accepted in smart places herbal remedies, I can't ever see quitting that. I enjoy it far too much. Everything kills us but stress and misery together do more damage than herbs ever will. Boba  > stress
