WTF do kidneys have to do with smoking? Smoking affects the mouth, throat, and lungs. Kidneys deal with the urinary tract and alcohol.
So, please, before you pretend to know what you're talking about, get some facts, then make your posts.

From what I know, Newports can destroy your kidney. I've heard it from a lot of people, but I just spent a few minutes searchign online and couldn't find anything to back that up. Granted, it's a hard thing to search for. But I believe they do **** with your kidneys.

That's something new. I've seen quite a few people in my area that smoke Newports, but I don't personally know anyone that does.

Hmm... I don't believe I've ever heard of such a thing, but I do know that Menthol in cigarettes (which Newports are quite famous for their menthol cigarettes) have an exceptionally harsh reaction with your body. I'm not sure whether or not it's specifically the kidneys, however... maybe that'll help your Google hunt if I'm on the same track as to what you're referring to and you can come back and edumacate myself and everyone else.

As if other cigerettes don't...
NOTE: Calm down, people. It's a joke.

Touche. Hence the use of the word "exceptionally" -- thus alluding to a condition that would be worse than normal. And I'm not just blowin' smoke up yer arse. (Oh man, I'm so punny!)

I think I might be called crazy with this unheard of suggestion, but I think I may know a cure to this problem. Don't smoke.

There's no problem if it's a choice and it's legal. There's not even really a problem if it's not legal. People will do as they please and we have all had the horrid effects of smoking ingrained in our minds at a very young age -- so this is even so far as an "educated decision" to do so. Just like having unprotected sex and driving drunk or using any other type of drugs (because yes, alcohol is a drug too). We have not seen any significant decrease in any of these activities, however, because people are exercising their rights to choose to do what they want. At the end of the day, it's no one's choice but their own and to take that choice away is just plain ol' un-American!
So, if you don't smoke, the terrorists win.
(Oh my God, the coherent argument went into a downward spiral quickly.)

I'm not telling anyone how to live their lives. I find it disturbing that people spend an insane amount of money to slowly kill themselves, that's all.
