WTF do kidneys have to do with smoking? Smoking affects the mouth, throat, and lungs. Kidneys deal with the urinary tract and alcohol.

mmm... this thread and all the arguing makes me wanna light up a Parliament Light right now.

I burnt a hole in my car seat, though. I was driving and attempted to flick some ash out the window and it blew back into my car and landed between my legs.

It's very tiny, but it really did piss me off. So much that I think twice before smoking whilst sitting in traffic (though after two thoughts, I usually do anyway)... how do you get a burn mark out of a car seat?!

Update on the UK front:

Smoking in public places was banned in July so cigarette sales are down a great deal. People have been forced to sit outside pubs whilst smoking, but most pubs don't let you take drinks outside therefore they have to smoke in between drinks.

Also, the age to buy cigarettes just upped from 16 to 18 last Monday so those who have been legally smoking since 16 are now having problems buying them. This is also contributing to declined cigarette sales.

Overall, smoking in Britain just got a whole lot harder...... s'about time!

Its nice to be able to go into the pub in-between classes and not coming out smelling like someone has been using you as an ash tray.

5 packs a day is like 100 cigarettes. I really doubt any one smokes more then 2. If Im wrong sorry but it doesn't seem possible.
