Should I get a 360 or wait for a ps3?

MAN idk...I sort of want a 360 but .....ps3 is way too much money here ($700) nobody will buy that for me but I could get a 360 for xmas...is it worth it, or will I just want a ps3 so bad once it comes out and feel that the 360 will be wasted money?

PS3 is going to have all the cool new games and some of the best graphics ever.

360 has some great games but you need to pay for XBOX live and that sucks.

When the PS3 comes out your going to wish you waited. Besides you will miss out on Socom 5 I hear its going to be awsome.

From what I herad this is what I got...

PS3:alot more money but the actualconsole has better graphics speed and all that ****...It has a blue ray disc player which currently just one of those is a grand, so thats nice. Because this, the PS3 is a better investment. But like we all know the online network portion kind of lacks compared to the 360. Also not many good games exclusively for the PS3.(sports games are on both)...Some titles or worth having it for like MGS fans and grand turismo and that off road racing game ...killzone...warhawk is eh?...but the rest to me look just bleh..like anime mmorpg's ...controller is always good style but lost the rumble effect in the ps3 which SUCKS!

360: Not as fast or good graphics as the ps3 but only hardly noticeable in certain games.... 360 passes my standards easy...price is nice cause for a whole system set up (controller, memory card, hard drive, headset?) is only like 400 opposed to ps3, which prob doestn even come with a memory card. Online network is the best out there but you do need to pay monthly/yearly...really I dont mind that...Games look good graphics on them on an HD tv are pimp enough for me like I said...I already have a list of games I want anticipating Im getting the 360 for x-mas...or ill just buy it. Rainbow six looks good, splinter cell, gears of wars, call of duty, NFS, halo, THPS: 8, Forza motorsport 2 (Like GT).. all look good and buy worthy..Newer smaller controller is alright but the dual shock is better designed if it had rumble.

Id get the 360....graphics are only a little worse since it came out a year earlier, half the price basically, better game titles, better online gaming...Better in my eyes... Some online sites say the PS3 is better but thats cause its a better investment with the blue ray and better graphics..but honestly I dont think its THAT much better..

I don't think Xbox live is that great it lags just as much as PS2 games. I have played 360 online too and it lags the same as the old Xbox and there are just as many glitchers on Halo xbox's hit series.

I am not sure how you say that 360 has all the good game titles I think Sony has some of the best titles out there. Saints Row and Halo are Xboxs biggests attractions. Think about socom though. You can go on it anytime of the day and there will be atleast 10,000 plus people to play with.

the people thing is same as HALO,... lag willl always be there until everyone has FI-OB!! (hax)...but the set up is better...I like the type of games the 360 is releasing opposed to the ps3, and the games are why im buying/getting the system...And after putting out S:CA how long will it be for Socom5? ya know?

So the PS3 can rip DVD's and have amazing quality on HD enabled TVs? If so thats all the more reason to buy one!

Otter I see where your coming from....I thought the same thing. But I would go for the PS3 but wait a while and keep PS2 until the price goes down. That's just my take on it..

I think its gonna be a few years before the blue ray becomes popular though... DVDs will still rule for awhile...

through further investigation cause im in the same seat as otter...the graphics on the Ps3 are greater through its monster chip called the cell... but the game designers cant even use it all so its basically the same outcome as the 360

Otter it is a tough choice to make but heres my thought on it. PS3 is coming out soon, just wait for it come out and get a chance to play it (best buy, friends house, extc.) and see if you like it. Based on what you like better, thats what you go for. People can post statistics and personal opions but its really all up to you.
