I also edited the poll to correct a song title problem. It's Carry on My Wayward Son. I didn't change the song title in the post because it's linked to a download and I didn't want to effect it.

Verse Chorus Verse (someone got the words all backwards, but I fixed it) is the best Nirvana song up there, where Heart Shaped Box is a borderline ballad, and one of my lesser favorite Nirvana songs.

Ever since the White Sox "adopted" Can't Stop Believing as their World Series song last year, I can't possibly vote for that one. Sorry, Journey...


EDIT: Wow. I just clicked on Radio's link for Verse Chorus Verse, and it sounds nothing like the song that I've often heard... not to mention it was a live track. The best version of VCV that I've heard is available on the "No Alternative" compliation CD.

That's correct. You don't have to vote in a certain battle but if you're going to abstain from voting in a battle don't vote in it later without a half-good reason because counting posts because people are lazy wouldn't be fun.

Calm down there, champ... it doesn't matter that much to me. It's only a stinking song... I'm still trying to figure out what song it is, because I've never heard Nirvana sing it before.

(And I voted for that selection regardless, because I dislike "Heart Shaped Box" that much!)
